Generic JDBC Bridge

War Package
The Generic JDBC Bridge can be used as a template for implementing a Kinetic Bridge for any database that supports JDBC connections.  The Generic JDBC Bridge can be deployed as a usable database Bridge, however it requries the necessary JDBC library file to be added to the Java classpath in order to function.

For basic information on how to deploy the DB2 Bridge, see the Kinetic Bridging Getting Started Guide.

Example Configuration

Name Value
Username SqlUser
Password SqlPassword
Adapter Class oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver
Connection String jdbc:oracle:thin:@//

The above example configuration assumes that the ojdbc6.jar file is present in the Java classpath and illustrates a sample connection to a Kinetic Matrix instance.
