Datastore Forms

IDF guide rendered from cache

Important Note: Datastore Forms were released in Version 2.1 of Kinetic Request CE. In earlier versions Datastore's were configured using the Admin Kapp

Datastore Forms allow administrators of the Kinetic platform to define and build up referential data that can be leveraged in other areas of the platform in a performant way. Examples of referential data include a list of Assets, Sites, Vendors, or Cities and States. Information stored in a Datastore Form can be configured to support many types of query combinations so that large datasets can be searched efficiently.

For more information on Datastore forms, the problem they solve and the difference between Kapp forms and Datastore forms, see this article.
