Update the submissions to show additional fields using the API

 

 

Steps:

  1. Add new form field

  2. Submit the form

  3. Add new header to the table

  4. Add code for values

Navigate to the form builder

  1. Select the Author tab.
  2. Click Forms link.
  3. Click Name link.

  4. Click Builder button.
    Overview___Form___Author___ce_training___Kinetic_Core.png

Add new field on form

  1. Drag the text field block above the submit button element.
  2. Enter "Requested For" in the Name field.
  3. Click Variables dropdown.
  4. Select Username under IDENTITY.
  5. Click Save button.

Submit the form

  1. Click any category on the catalog page.

  2. Click the START button on the form listing.

  3. Click the Submit button on the form.

  4. Return to the catalog home page by Clicking on the company logo

Add new header to table

  1. Navigate to /partials/submissionsTable.jsp.

  2. Do a search for SUMMARY.

  3. On the next (between SUMMARY and STATUS) add.

Add code for values

  1. Do a search for submission.form.name.
  2. On the next line Add the code below.
<td class="font-bold p-b-0 text-center">${submission.getValue('Requested For')}</td>
  1. Save the file.
  2. Refresh the catalog page to see the new value.

Finished Product gains a new "For" column
